About Us

Tom (Responsible Broker) and Barb (Office Manager) Travis own Travis Agency. We're located at 12 E 4th Street in Platte, South Dakota. Tom and Donna (Associate Broker) offer real estate services as the seller's agent, buyer's agent, disclosed limited agency (representing both buyer and seller), and transaction brokerage services.

Tom and Barb also own and operate the Prairie Skies Country Inn. Donna owns and operates Molly's Manor B&B. Both are excellent accommodations while in the Platte area for family and group outings, pheasant and deer hunting, nearby Missouri River Walleye fishing or boating, horseback riding, and 4-wheeling.

Our Real Estate Policy

The Travis Real Estate Company will represent sellers in the sale of their properties and buyers in the purchase of properties. We will practice Limited Agency in the sale of in-house listings. This Limited Agency will be practiced only after full disclosure is made in accordance with state law and all parties give their full written consent. We will act as a Transaction Broker assisting buyers and sellers in completing a private transaction but not acting as an agent representing either party.
