Who We Are
The Apartment Association of Greater Knoxville (AAGK) is a professional organization comprised of apartment owners and managers, communities, and vendors of the multifamily housing industry. We are dedicated to informing, educating, connecting, and impacting those working in or providing products and services to multifamily housing in Knox and surrounding counties.
Our Mission
Our mission is to unite the apartment industry in order to improve the quality and services of the apartment industry through educational programs, legislative activities, and public relations. We strive to provide our members with valuable resources, opportunities, and connections that enhance their professional and personal growth.
Our Services
Our organization is affiliated with both the Tennessee Apartment Association (TAA) and the National Apartment Association (NAA). As an AAGK member, you will have access to the numerous services offered by these organizations. We provide our members with a platform to connect with industry peers, stay updated on industry trends, and enhance their professional development.

Committees
We have several committees that focus on different aspects of our organization's mission. These committees are:
Education Committee: This committee is responsible for providing educational programs to all members of the AAGK. They decide on programs, topics, and speakers to present to the membership.
Legislative Committee: This committee focuses on legislative activities and public relations. They work together with government agencies and elected officials to promote and protect the interests of the apartment industry.
Membership Committee: This committee is responsible for creating and maintaining membership programs and services. They work to recruit new members, retain existing ones, and provide opportunities for members to get involved in the organization.
Technology Committee: This committee is focused on the technological aspects of the apartment industry. They work to improve communication and information exchange within the organization and provide resources for members to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Special Events Committee: This committee is responsible for planning and executing special events and activities, such as conferences, seminars, and social gatherings.
Get Involved
We encourage our members to get involved on an AAGK committee. Committee members are expected to fully participate in activities as defined by the committee's plan of work and act in good faith and in accordance with what they believe to be in the best interests of the association.
