As a licensed Realtor since 1982, I, Genie Nakell, bring over four decades of experience and expertise to every transaction. My journey into real estate began in New York, where my father owned a lumber company. As an artist and interior decorator, my mother also had a keen eye for design. Growing up in St. Louis, I was exposed to the real estate industry at a young age. After graduating from Connecticut College and earning a degree in Counseling from Boston University, I further honed my skills in conflict resolution at the University of Southern Maine.

Throughout my career, I have worked in various capacities, including teaching elementary school, managing a real estate office in Portsmouth, co-authoring a bestselling book on timber framing, and owning my own building company. I have also had the privilege of working for a non-profit organization, where I accessed federal funds for the construction of affordable housing for low-income elderly and families.

In 2006, I founded Sage Hill Real Estate, LLC, driven by my passion for helping others find their perfect home.
