Terrible Experience with Termites and Maintenance Issues
The majority of reviewers had a horrible experience living at Monterey Townhouse. One reviewer, Julianna Fiala, discovered termites in her unit and notified the complex immediately. However, it took them 9 days to confirm the issue and 11 days to address it, causing water to leak into her bed. The solution was to inject foam into the roof, which didn't fix the problem, and she was left with a huge PGE bill.
Poor Management and Unresponsive Staff
Multiple reviewers experienced poor management and unresponsive staff. Erica L. had to send a letter from the court to get her deposit back, and N. S. had issues with the staff not responding to phone calls and emails. David Sabag mentioned that the staff was never available in the office, and Anne Willey stated that the staff was always on lunch break and never responded to emails or phone calls.
Laundry and Maintenance Issues
Several reviewers experienced issues with the laundry machines, which were always broken, and the constant increase in price per load. There were also problems with the maintenance staff, who didn't respond to issues or fix problems promptly.
