Welcome home. Where community meets luxury.
At Stokes and Company, we have been providing unique living experiences for over 70 years. Founded by Mr. James Ellwood Stokes, our company has a rich history of delivering high-quality construction projects, including numerous apartment buildings and office spaces. One of our most notable projects is the IBM Building, which still stands at 777 Grant Street to this day.
Our Properties
We take great pride in managing several properties, including The Manchester and Liongate Apartments. The Manchester offers residents a community-focused lifestyle, with easy access to Cheesman Park, the Botanic Gardens, City Park, and the vibrant arts scene of the area. Liongate, on the other hand, provides residents with spacious apartments that truly feel like home, with options for 1 and 2 bedroom apartments in Denver.
What Sets Us Apart
What makes Stokes and Company Properties unique? For starters, our properties offer a range of amenities that cater to our residents' needs. These include a large sun deck, a heated indoor pool, an exercise room, and pool tables. We also prioritize great neighbors, with nearby restaurants, cafes, and shops to explore. Whether you're looking to relax over a cup of coffee from Copper Door Coffee or satisfy your sweet tooth at Liks Ice Cream, there's always something to do in the area.

Overall Experience
The reviews of Brittany House apartments are mixed, with some reviewers having positive experiences and others having negative ones.
Problems with Management
Several reviewers mentioned that the management is more interested in making a profit than in taking care of the residents. Bre D. had a particularly bad experience, stating that the apartment was "literally falling apart" and that the management was unresponsive to their concerns. Adam J. mentioned that the management was slow to fix a water damage issue in his apartment.
Apartment Amenities and Condition
Kalani F. and Adam J. both mentioned that the apartments are well-maintained and recently remodeled. Adam J. praised the variety of amenities, including a pool, storage areas, and on-site laundry facilities. However, Bre D. mentioned that the building's cameras don't work, and Adam J. mentioned that the washing machines are expensive and sometimes difficult to use.
Noise and Temperature Issues
Adam J. mentioned that the walls and floors are thin, making it difficult to hear what's going on in other apartments. He also mentioned that the air conditioning in his apartment only works half the year, and that the building's heating and cooling system is either on or off, with no temperature control.
Parking and Location
Adam J. mentioned that parking is reasonably priced and easy to find, and that the building is close to parks and restaurants.
