From our beginning in 1979, we have been dedicated to serving lower-income residents. We are passionate about making sure all of our residents feel welcome and at home while living in our affordable housing community.
Services
We offer our residents an affordable, safe, and secure living environment with all of the comforts of home. Our complex is located in Pueblo, CO, and has a total of 201, one-bedroom elderly community units. The entire facility is smoke-free and features beautiful balconies with scenic mountain views, and 24/7 maintenance for your safety. Our income-based rent and free utilities make Azteca Apartments an affordable option for any budget.
Amenities
Each of our units are Section 8 elderly community units. Section 8 is a program through the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) that offers rental assistance for seniors who meet the federal requirements for the program. We also offer affordable housing and rental assistance to help make our apartments accessible to everyone.
History
In 1977, Arthur Escobado and his three sons, Arthur, Michael, and Phillip, began working on the development of Azteca Apartments. Construction finished, and the doors were opened for residents in 1979. Our apartment community has always been family-oriented, and Art. Sr. and Michael still own and manage the complex today.
