The Mason Oceana Manistee Board of REALTORS is a dedicated organization committed to promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and realtor professionalism among its members. Our primary objective is to provide our members with the necessary tools and technology to enhance their profitability, communicate their viewpoints on real estate and private property issues, and promote the value of realtors to the public. We operate in accordance with local, state, and federal laws, as well as the REALTOR Code of Ethics.

We have several committees that focus on different aspects of our operations, including community outreach, education, and professional development. Community Outreach

At the Mason Oceana Manistee Board of REALTORS, we believe in giving back to our community. We are committed to supporting local organizations and initiatives that benefit our members and the wider community. One of our recent community outreach efforts involved supporting children in trauma through the Lakeshore Children's Advocacy Center.

The Lakeshore Children's Advocacy Center serves Manistee and Mason counties, providing essential services to child abuse victims. Our organization stood up for vulnerable children by providing two $1000 grants to the center. These funds will be used to provide forensic interviews of child victims, multidisciplinary case coordination for allegations of child sexual abuse or severe physical abuse, and counseling services and referrals with trained trauma therapists at no cost to children and their non-offending family members.

We also made a donation of $1,000 to the Hart Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1329. The VFW was established in 1932 and currently serves 96 veterans. They utilize this post for medical support including bloodwork, immunizations, counseling, and support for those struggling with PTSD. They also host blood drives through the Red Cross every other week.

Scholarship Program

The Mason Oceana Manistee Board of REALTORS is proud to offer a scholarship program for graduating seniors in Mason, Oceana, and Manistee counties. Our scholarship fund began in 2005 and initially awarded scholarships on a rotating basis for each county. Over the years, we have worked to build the fund, and we are now able to award a scholarship to a student in each of the three counties we serve.

Fundraisers are planned throughout the year, including our annual MOM Board Golf Scramble and a "Scholarship Fund Agent Challenge" that includes a stipulation that agents donate $10 from each closing to be matched by their respective broker.
