Our History

M.W. Weischwill started Weischwill Real Estate in the late 1950s as a solo real estate broker. With the help of his wife and part-time employees, he listed and sold farms, ranches, homes, and commercial property. He was also a developer and builder, which gave him a deep understanding of the local real estate market.

In 1976, M.W.'s son Mark joined the family business, and father and son enjoyed great success working together. However, the oil/gas and savings & loan crisis of the early 80s took a toll on the real estate market, and M.W. suffered a severe stroke in 1984. Mark continued to run the business on his own, eventually combining it with his uncle's independent insurance agency.

Today, Weischwill Real Estate is a thriving real estate agency that lists and sells land, homes, and commercial property throughout South Texas. We are committed to providing exceptional real estate services and taking a personal interest in each of our clients.
