At Outer Drive Apartments, L.L.C., we are a family-owned and operated business that has been providing affordable housing solutions since 1967. We are committed to maintaining a clean, quiet, and well-maintained apartment community on the west side of Bad Axe. As lifelong residents of Bad Axe, we understand the importance of providing our tenants with a comfortable living environment and prompt service.

Our story began when Millard (Bill) and Beatrice Deering recognized the need for apartment housing in Bad Axe. They started construction on Outer Drive Apartments in 1967 and built three buildings over the years. The apartments were passed down to their son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Pam Deering, in 2014. Since then, they have made significant improvements to the properties, including new driveways, sidewalks, asphalt, windows, doors, a new carport, and individual private fenced-in patio areas per apartment. Additionally, they have renovated and updated the apartments with ceramic tile floors in the kitchen and bathroom.

Our team is dedicated to providing tenants with a prompt response to any concerns, complaints, or maintenance requests. We understand that our tenants are not just clients, but members of our community. Therefore, we strive to create a comfortable and welcoming living environment for everyone.

Services Offered

At Outer Drive Apartments, L.L.C., we offer a variety of services to ensure that our tenants have a comfortable and convenient living experience. Some of the services we provide include:

1. Coin-Operated Laundry Rooms: We have coin-operated laundry rooms in the basements of Buildings 1 and 2, as well as in the center of Building 3. These facilities are available for all tenants to use.

2. Storage Options: Tenants have access to lockable storage cages in the basements of Buildings 1 and 2. Additionally, there are non-locking storage rooms in the basements of each building for use by all tenants.

3. Maintenance and Repairs: Our maintenance team is available to handle any repairs or issues that may arise in the apartments. We prioritize prompt service to ensure that our tenants can continue to enjoy their living space without interruptions.

4. Rent Payments via EFT: All rental payments are made via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). This convenient payment method allows tenants to make their payments easily and on time.

5. Private Patio Areas: Building 3 apartments offer individual private fenced-in patio areas for tenants to enjoy the outdoors and relax in their own space.

6. Close Proximity to Amenities: Our apartments are located in a quiet and peaceful residential area on the west side of Bad Axe, close to schools, hospitals, dining, shopping, and recreation. This convenient location allows tenants to easily access the services and activities they need and enjoy.
