Perseverance would be an understatement in describing Derricks reliability in working w/ me. W/ one investment property already under my belt, in Old Town, another was desired. Initially starting out w/ this one objective, to find life throwing me a curve ball w/ a minor health issue, all was put on ice, including me. Once I was back up and running, Derrick was present, not missing a beat. Basically, to start over. I can't thank him enough for his patience, knowledge and sense of humor..and 0 pressure. We fairly quickly managed to get 2 properties closed, which w/in those two were some unexpected and unnecessary challenges. Once again perseverance prevailed. These closing would not have happened sans Derricks tenacity. While I hope to be two and counting w/ Derrick, I hope more to be a reliable referral source. He so deserves every opportunity.

Derrik was incredibly helpful and instrumental in helping my girlfriend and I locate and purchase a house in Park City. It was no easy feat working through the process being from LA/Out of state - but with Derrik's help we were able to efficiently maneuver.
Derrik provided so much insight on desirable areas, and unbiased feedback on where/when to avoid certain properties.
Beyond finding the house itself, Derrik also was very helpful in identifying other important and trusted contacts needed to execute the deal (Lenders, Inspectors, Title Companies, etc.)

My wife and I found Derrik through his very informative and detailed website/RE blog. We moved to Park City from out of state so the wealth of local knowledge on his website was very helpful in determining the pros and cons of each neighborhood.
When it came to the transaction we knew we could trust him to get us the best deal possible. And when the delinquent sellers and seller’s broker (Al Johnson Sotheby’s) would not respond to numerous requests to remove their remaining junk furniture, Derrik took it upon himself to get the sellers junk out so my family could move in.

We had high expectations for Derrik Carlson as he came highly recommended. However, we never expected to list our home and close in ten days! When we told Derrik we called him because we heard he was the best realtor in the Heber Valley. He humbly remarked, “Well sometimes you get lucky.” Derrik is very professional and personal. Only five-star review I have ever given to a real estate professional. I build and sell homes for a living. I was a very tough client for Derrik. Demanding, short-tempered, pessimistic and genuinely unimpressed with agents in general. Derrik was a GAME CHANGER! Since then, he has become a trusted adviser and a go-to source for me and my clients. He is knowledgeable, predictable and dependable but most impressive is his work ethic. No time was a bad time to talk and when I asked for information, it was typically delivered within a 24 hour time period.
