Stayed here for a nearby family reunion. The Rooster cabin was large but only one closed in room and one bathroom. 2 futons in the living room, very comfortable. 2 lofts difficult to get to for older adults by ladder attached to wall with 3 cots each (6 total). Bunk beds were too small for our group but a good place to store suitcases. No wifi. Working AC. Full kitchen with fridge, sink, stove, pots and pans. Nice grounds with a beautiful lake and a trail to the lake. So secluded you can see all the stars at night. Do NOT approach from the south, dangerous, muddy road that we slid around losing control of the vehicle temporarily. Approach from the north or east near Steinauer. Will stay here again for the next reunion if available, maybe rent more cabins for more beds.

Great place to get away, yet not to far from away. Cabin was clean and cozy, full use kitchen. Hosts were very nice people. Even with a rainy day to start it was a lovely place. Lots of birds to watch. We enjoyed sitting around the campfire once weather permitted. Will recommend highly.
