High Point Real Estate Group is a locally-owned real estate brokerage with a focus on digital marketing and a healthy disregard for inefficient industry norms. Our story began in December of 2012 when broker John Lasher had a decision to make. After 15 years with a large international brokerage, his franchise agreement was coming to an end and the corporate managers were pressing for a renewal of the glorified "logo fee". At that same time, his son Matt had just re-entered the real estate industry and was looking to do something a little different from the old-school/fancy car/fancy suit way of doing things. And so, with zero hesitation, the two decided to buck the traditional corporate model in favor of a new independent brokerage - High Point Real Estate Group.

Since making this transition, High Point has seen a tremendous amount of growth-more than quadrupling in size in our first five years-with even greater growth on the horizon. With the cut in corporate overhead and the freedom to run the business with a local focus, we have been able to utilize some of the most cutting-edge technology to help our clients achieve their real estate goals. Much to the loss of High Point and the Northeast Ohio real estate community, John passed away in 2016. As both an outspoken critic of the industry's shortcomings and booster of its service to the public, he was thrilled to have been able to see the company find stable footing as a client-focused brokerage.
